Our modern Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA) can accommodate commercial jet aircrafts as large as the Boeing 747. The island is served by a number of airlines, and connections can be made to any part of the world.
The departure tax for Aruba is USD 36.75 to the USA (It is usually included in the purchased airline ticket). For all other destinations, the departure tax is USD 33.50 (except Bonaire: USD 9.00).
Aruba is also served by seasonal charter flights from Cleveland, Newark, Baltimore, Philadelphia, Orlando, Atlanta, Charlotte, Louisville, Cincinnnati, Nashville and Stewart Newburgh.
Year round charters from Boston, Chicago, Detroit, and Hartford.
Aruba is served by a number of airlines, and connections can be made to any part of the world, U.S.-bound passengers benefit from their own terminal building that houses a U.S. INS/Customs facility, allowing flights from Aruba to enter the U.S. as domestic flights.
When checking in for your flight you will need your passport, along with a ticket, e-ticket receipt or a printed e-ticket confirmation. For some countries a Visa is also required. Please make sure you have all these documents with you when checking in. Restrictions apply for carry-on items for all travellers.
The building located to the right of the arrivals hall is used for checking in all US bound flights. After checking in, leave the building through the exit on the left side of the building. When outside, follow the terminal signs to the right towards security screening and the gates.
For US-bound departures you have to check-in three hours before the scheduled departure. The busiest period
starts around 11:30 and continues untill aproximately 15:00.

Gates 5,6,7 and 8 are the standard gates for US-bound flights. At busy times gates 1,2,3 and 4 can also be used for US-bound flights.

When dropping a departing passenger off at the airport, please remember that the zone in front of the terminal building is for immediate loading and unloading only. If you need more time, park your vehicle at the airport parking area. Do not abandon your vehicle at any time whilst in front of the terminal. For security reasons, abandonned vehicles are towed immediately at the owners expense.
When collecting an arriving passenger at airport, please remember that the zone in front of the terminal building is for immediate loading and unloading only. Do not wait for passengers in this zone. If you need to wait for passengers, park your vehicle in the airport parking area. For security reasons, vehicles that are placed in front of the terminal for more than 5 minutes or abandoned vehicles are towed immediately at the owners expense.
