Some day, in years to come, you will be wrestling with the great temptation, or trembling under the great sorrow of your life. But the real struggle is here, now, in these quiet weeks. Now it is being decided whether, in the day of your supreme sorrow or temptation, you shall miserably fail or gloriously conquer. Character cannot be made except by a steady, long continued process.

In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on.

That's nice. Boy I was sure surprised to see who had said it. _________________ Aruba Trip Reports |

The living language is like a cow-path: it is the creation of the cows
themselves, who, having created it, follow it or depart from it according
to their whims or their needs. From daily use, the path undergoes change.
A cow is under no obligation to stay.

The mystery of government is not how Washington works but how to make it stop.

Rely on the ordinary virtues that intelligent, balanced human beings have relied on for 'centuries: common sense, thrift, realistic expectations, patience and perseverance. --Unknown _________________

The streets in Massachusetts used to be cowpaths, that's why the traffic is so messed up and
the humans that paved the streets were so dumb they followed those same cowpaths instead
of creating new paths.
