The window was off center. Fortunately it was 74" wide, so we had one side blocked in to bring it back to center |

Amazing transformation!!!
Is the work only being done while you're there?

The work is "SUPPOSED" to be done while we are back home. But, there is that Aruba pace. They tend to do very little while we were gone. The windows and doors were to be completed by Sept. The kitchen cabinets were then scheduled. When we arrived last Sept. the doors were not in, so the cabinets had to be rescheduled. Our kitchen cabinets were not finished until Jan.

I love the kitchen!! It looks like they did a wonderful job. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the house. Can you stay in it now or is it still being worked on?

When choosing the kitchen units, was there a lot of styles to choose from?
Your kitchen looks great. You must be very happy with the progress.

Beautiful. I especially like the faucet. Looks like you can actually get a tall pot under it.

We went with a company (Aru Wood Designers) that custom builds the cabinets. The have many choices of wood finishes & counter tops. Everything is drawn on computer, so you can design the cabinets yourself. We were able to design the corner unit doors to match the windows (which are also custom made in Aruba) by a small wood shop.
The cabinets are 12 feet across and extend out about 4 feet on each side. The cost was $6581 (dollars), ($11581 AFL) which includes installation.
