If you are new to this forum Please listen to Amy, she is right on target with her advise!. Many thanks we owe her for our first trip. Yes, she let us make our own decision , however, her advice was right on!
Amy recommended the Radisson but we choose the Marriott, now we are going back and to the Radisson. The Marriott was one of Amy top choices but she like the Radisson better. I am sure we will love it.
Amy suggested Passions on the Beach for Dinner. Well that was beautiful and worth it.
Amy recommended Aruba Bob's for Snorkeling and it was the best snorkeling ever.
Amy recommend the Kukoo Kunuku party bus, (we are in our 60's) and did we feel so young and loved it. The time went by quickly. To quick. We are going to do this again on this trip.
I asked about a nice steak house and Amy recommended El Gaucho, again she was right on target.
SO...If you are new to this forum, you will get good advise here. Fortunately, no matter where we go, we do have a good time.
The single best advice I get from numerous persons is that almost every day is like the day before, beautiful. People go here because they want all their days to be good and don't want to chance it to bad weather. As for the wind, I really don't notice it, but I do notice a lack of flying insects bothering us. I'll take the wind any day over the biting bugs.
Thank you again Amy.
Getting close and getting excited.... _________________ Dec 7-14, 2012: 1st Trip to Aruba PHOTOS

Yes, Amy IS the best. Glad you enjoyed Aruba.
We too love the Radisson, but for what we needed during our next trip, on Amy's recommendation we are staying at the Amsterdam Manor. It is a great feeling being so confident in our selection. _________________ www.arubabound.com ~ www.hoosierkitties.com

You are more than welcome! I'm just happy that you enjoyed your stay!
Vacations can be few and far between (and costly), so you definitely don't want to make choices that you wish you didn't make later on.
Everyone here gives excellent advice....it's always nice to get good information before a trip, especially for a first trip anywhere. _________________ ~Amy~®

Well said Amy. I've been caught in two hurricane in SC, one evacuation in NC, and one cold week in Paradise Island. So a good week, every week is something not to take lightly. _________________ Dec 7-14, 2012: 1st Trip to Aruba PHOTOS

I think Arubaman (Liz) has a few issues of their own and has a bit of an axe to grind. LOL!!!
Yes, there are many more Aruba bulletin boards. You can be the judge on how "helpful" they are. _________________ ~Amy~®

I too have found many Aruba forums, and I like this the best because I trust what Amy has to say. She has as well as others given very good information.
With any forum, trust is important. _________________ Dec 7-14, 2012: 1st Trip to Aruba PHOTOS
