The West Deck just opened on Sept. 16th. It's managed/owned by the same owner of Pincho's and is at Linear Park on Governor's Bay.
We hope to try it in Nov!

All of you October travelers have to check this place out for us and give us the scoop! I won't be there until Nov. 1st.

Will try it next trip. I like the small portion part and also the view looks very nice.
Not a big eater and at times when a plate arrives loaded with food, it just makes me think (bleah)
Prefer quality over quantity.
That is one of the reasons why I stay away from buffets.

Good afternoon everybody,
I think Donna and I will be giving The West Deck a try. When you're only there for a week, you really have to plan your dining strategically and inevitably, we know we're not going to be able to get to all of the places we want to.
We will be on board our flight from Toronto to Aruba three weeks today.
Carol, Sasha; see you there!
Glenn

Good morning Carol,
You are absolutely right. It's been over two years since we were in Aruba, so I am long overdue for a 16oz Gaucho steak.
I haven't done my El Gaucho pitch for quite a while, so I'll do it now.
A vacation in Aruba is wonderful; the beaches, the ocean, the restaurants, shopping and nightlife; but you also use up a lot of muscle. Walking along the beach, swimming, constantly turning your head on the beach so folks don't know where you're looking, carrying your spouse's new purchases and lifting any number of Heinikens and Amtels; all of this uses up muscle which must be replaced. Muscle means protein, and El Gaucho's 16oz Gaucho steak is the best-tasting source of protein on the planet. Don't think of this as a restaurant recommendation; think of it as a health tip. You can thank me at the bb party.
See you three weeks from tomorrow.
We really are getting excited now.
Glenn

You know what you should be doing Amy. I'm sure the change fee would not be that high.
We'll save you a seat at the bb party.

Ohhhh, I so wish I could!!! Oct. is a bad month for Mike to be away from work. I would come myself but I don't think my office would like the fact that I took a vacation in Sept, Oct AND Nov. LOL!
You will just need to have a drink for me (and a Gaucho steak!)
