Please lead me in the right direction for a dependable/best price to rent a car for 32 days with a/c, automatic. So far, the best price has been $900.

I rented a car for 27 days from Hans of Tropic Car Rental for $574.00 total. His cars are great and the service unbeatable.

It depends on when you rent, low season has better prices than high season. If you about to get to Aruba, Hans of Tropic Car will not be able to help you. He is out of cars months ahead. Also, he doesn't rent to people who do not stay in a hotel or timeshare. Only thing to do is ask several companies for their best prices. In the Netherlands I use sunny cars, don't know if you can use them from the States. They don't rent out themselves, but find you the best prices worldwide. Check what is included in the rental price and what not. You might find extra taxes or insurances you didn't know about before added up when you return the car. It also depends on what kind of car you want: newer model or don't mind an older model with dents. Last time and for our upcoming trip we rent (through sunny cars) from Royal. About $ 720 for 22 days, everything included. They have older cars, but we don't mind as long as they are safe and have a functioning airconditioning.
