Flights with Delta yesterday good.Arrived in Aruba at 2pm to rain! The rain ended in time for us to watch the sunset from our patio here at the Manchebo.Piazza at Piazza Bobs .....then an early night.Philip has left for his run whilst I sit and drink tea! A beach day today..then the decision about dinner!.....Susan.

Hi Susan!

If you're at Manchebo be sure to try Ike's Bistro. I ate there a few weeks ago and was really impressed with the menu and food.

Another beautiful Aruba morning.Philip is of course out on his morning run.
Lovely beach day yesterday.Made our first visit to Lindas pancakes for dinner..loved it! Tuesday we had a couple of heavy rain showers in the morning then sun.That evening we ate at A Taste of Belgium which was also good.
Today is of course a relax and read beach day for me..and relax and snooze day for Philip!!

It is perfect Amy!!
Have been spending lazy days on the beach stepping in the ocean to cool off...although a couple of days the ocean was quite rough.
Had dinner at ikes on Friday and agree with you about the menu.
The food was well presented and was really good.We have also eaten at our old favourite Tulip whit h remains consistsant
Also had good Indian food at Tandoor.
Celebrating Mothers day and my birthday today...so guess what.....another beach day in sunny Aruba!

Glad to hear you liked Ike's, too. We also tried Tandoor last year and like it alot - it was a nice change of pace from the other restaurants.

Thanks Amy! Had a great day ending with dinner here at the French Steakhouse. This week has flown by..we leave today.Construction has started this week at the Bucutti so there has not been the same peacefulness as last week but we have not been too bothered by it. Ate at ikes again last night definately a good addition to the. Manchebo.Going g to ha e a last couple of hours on the beach before it is time to say our goodbyes until next year.
