Well friends, we unfortunately are back and back to the grind after our glorious 9 day trip But we are hopefully planning to go back before the end of the year.

The Bucuti was our place of residence for the 5th consecutive year. We love it there as this trip is our annual honeymoon trip, so we like that its adult only. The workers there make us feel like home and we enjoy going back.

Eagle Beach held us captive this year, thus we did not do any excursions except to eat and shop. Next trip, we have decided to force ourselves to do 1 beach day, the next day and exploration day, and alternate the days or else we will be held captive on the beach

We ate at Amazonia, Elliots Italian, El Gaucho, Merandi's, Pizza Bobs, Subway, Tandoor Indian. All were really good with the exception of Merandi's which was just ok. We spent a couple of nights in South Beach at the Bar in Front of a Gelateno ice cream place (next to Gianni's) enjoying drinks, conversation and people watching. Their happy hr is 6-9pm and we had a good time there.

Shopping wise, we usually just do jewelry shopping and my husband has developed a watch fetish:) He's being eying a particular watch & I surprised him with it for his birthday! He was soo excited. Little Switzerland is where we have bought his previous 2 watches, and its where we bought this one. The service is great there, Our sales consultant that we use every year provides an excellent sales experience(ask for Jairo)

In conclusion, the 9 days went by fast for some reason lol, If we do a second trip this year we will just stay a week, however next years spring trip we will try to shoot for 10-12 days. You just about have to subtract 2 days off your stay because of traveling to and from so a 10 day stay will give us 8 full days etc..
