Just got back from another trip and I was wondering if anyone knows why all the help are asking for Blackberry's and I phones??I was asked on 4 occasions if I could bring one or the other back to Aruba for them on my next trip?I'm sure they could be bought on e bay,Anyone else have this experience? |

I guess it has to do with the fact that you pay a high tax when you buy them on Aruba. I know we in the Netherlands sometimes smuggle iPhones from the States because the cost is 1/3 cheaper than here. |

I see,but cant they order them online?I'm a Little hasty buying one for this person,now I'm wondering if they realize I want to be payed for it,my friend said they think it's a gift,Id like that gift myself!LOL |

I can only imagine what the shipping charges would be to Aruba from a U.S. business.....pretty high, I'm sure.

Also, if you order online and the tax department recognise that it is an iPhone (they know which companies ship them and check the package) you have o pay tax and a fine for tryibg to avoid taxes. I know people to who this happened! Letting them pay in advance sounds good to me. |
