We are fine. The eye of the storm was so calm for about 5 hours. and the tail end was minimal. We has no loss of power but every county around us did.

I received the following recommendations:

Iguana Joe's. It's a very laid back Caribbean bar and grill nicely priced
Is this place an afternoon place (Lunch) or evening dinner place? Thoughts?

El Gaucho Steakhouse
Heard this is a must do place early in the vacation because one might want to go back again. What do you think?

Sunset Dinner Cruise called Le Dome on the Ocean
Is this the best dinner cruise or are there others?

Don Carlo's Italian Restaurant
Thoughts?

DePalm Adventures Jeep Tour- Definitely do this!! You can either do a half day or full day excursion.
Which is better Half or full day and why?

What American sold beer does Balashi beer taste like?

Getting Excited.....

Iguana Joes is a lunch place - more known for its location because it has a nice view downtown. Food is just so-so but okay for lunch.

Don Carlos has been closed for a few years now.

LeDome has been closed for quite a few years. Red Sail might still do a dinner sail but not sure which restaurant they use for the dinner.

El Gaucho is good if you like steak - be sure to order the Gaucho Steak.

I would either do the DePalm tour or the ABC jeep tour.

I only like Balashi on tap - don't care for it in bottles or cans. We usually drink Amstel Bright while in Aruba which is similar to Corona and served with a lime. Also like Balashi Chill a little, too.

Thanks Amy,

I want to snorkel, enjoy the beach, steak dinner, Passion one night, Jeep tour, and I am cautious about a cruise dinner tour because I always get sea sick very easily even with patches.

We have a gift certificate for Ruth Chris' at the Marriott where we are staying.

It looks like I got to try Iguana Joe's Caribbean Bar and Grill for lunch, then stroll the downtown stores. It will be tough given up a beach day for this.

DePalm Tours Offer so much it is tough making a choice here. This seems to cover everything in one day:

See Previous Forum Post which include pictures

ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET AND OPEN BAR. Won't go hungry or thirsty.
BANANA BOAT RIDES. Optional for us
BEACHES. Both like this
MASSAGE. My wife would like this
ORGANIZED DAILY ACTIVITIES.
SEA TREK UNDERWATER HELMET WALK. Looks like Fun
SNORKELING. Love this
SNUBA. Different
WATER PARK. Not tops on my list
Not sure on half-day or full day on jeep tour. Both include snorkeling.

Passions looks good based on Amy recommendations
El Gaucho Steakhouse is also a must do for us.

Of course there is the Stellar Casino at our hotel

Looks like a busy week with little beach time.[/url]

Trip Adviser and other reviewers gave lots of positive posts for both ABC Tours and De Palm Tours related to the jeep tours

There was some negative posts.

I can see the negative posts if the poster does not like bumpy rides. We are adventurous people so wild and crazy are more our style. Got any suggestions on this?

Seems weird to still be home this week. I keep telling myself I get more anticipation time Very Happy But I am not used to not having the Thanksgiving Days off to finish up my packing and making sure all the other 'stuff' is done (stopped mail, paper, etc etc etc).
