Thinking of grabbing a week there in December.
For those of you that have stayed there, should I?
If I read their website correctly, by December the construction will be done on all rooms and the work on the outside affecting the use of balconies will also be done?
On each of my past trips to Aruba I have stayed at the Marriott (hotel & Ocean Club). I know LaCabana is not the same.
Is it as much of a hassle getting a beach hut?
Do they have WIFI in the rooms?
Do they have BBQ's so we can grill?
Do they have American channels on the TV's? (It's December, I know I will be in Aruba but a man can't live without football).
Thank you for any and all feedback.

I can answer a couple of questions....
Yes, TV channels from the U.S.
Yes, gas grills on site.
They have Wifi but I believe there's a charge for it (not sure how much.) _________________ ~Amy~®

Yes, Amy is correct on all questions. I can't remember how much the WiFi is, but it is not over-expensive.
In December, getting a hut should not be a problem. If you prefer first row, you need to get there early. Keep in mind security does check, and if u leave your stuff early and don't come back within a couple of hours, they will take your stuff and give the hut away!
Construction is complete on all rooms, I believe they r working on painting the halls now. No biggie!
I love LaCabana and Eagle Brach way more than the Marriott and Palm people. It is so less crowded.
I hope this helps! _________________ Christmas 2015 at Disney World!

Wifi is Setarnet which is $30 for a week of service. It may have gone up to $35 but is fairly dependable, 24/7 and DSL speed. Reachable from a lot of locations on the island including the departure lounge at the airport!! _________________ John...
