In Aruba for my son's wedding which was Saturday.
Staying at Surf Club and enjoying paradise.

Thur. LG SMITH
We had 2 tables of 10 and overall the food was good not spectacular.one table got their food 30 minutes before the other although we ordered at the same time.For the price overall unimpressive.
This is my third time Dining here and it has been about the same every time.


Fri. Hadicurai. At The Surf Club
Casual Seafood grilled on the beach.Everyone was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the grilled seafood buffet.


Sat. Marandi.
The wedding dinner/reception was here and it was OUTSTANDING!!
Service and food were absolutely fantastic.
My favorite dish here is the Osso Bucco but that was not on the wedding menu so I went with the grouper which was tasty as always.
There were 55 people in our party and everyone raved about Marandi

Sunday. Barney's
I thought I would try this as they received some positive reviews on their food.
BIG MISTAKE!!!!
This was the worst dining experience I have had in years!
When the food finally arrived it was ok but we were there over two and a half hours before we were served our entree.
8pm reservations got served at 10:40 .
The servers were impossible to find and the restaurant was not crowded.
We had to ask for bread and had to walk up to the bar to get drinks.
The kicker was after we asked for our check,the waitress went to the bar and smoked a cigarette before bringing the check to the table at 11:15.

Sorry to hear about your experience at Barney's. I ate there in April and had a very nice dinner and service.

Sounds like the wedding dinner was great though!

I had a similar experience at Barney's during my recent trip as well. Ordered a frozen drink, it came back on the rocks, they took it back to make it frozen but over iced it so it lost its taste. Food was so so, service as noted was slow.
