Two more days untill we leave for the Manchebo.!!!! Does anyone know the current cab fare to the Manchebo?

Should be about $22 from the airport to Manchebo. Have a great trip!! Smile

That sounds about right, was $27 to the hi rise area last month.

For years, we have picked up a rental car at the airport.
So, taxi fares haven't been a factor.
Given all increases in Aruba, I suppose $22 seems reasonable to Manchebo.
Just remembering when it was $15 to the low-rise area (CDM/ABC) right next to Manchebo.
My point:
If I can get a rental car for somewhere in the $30/day range, I guess we're still thinking about the advantages of rental. We check-in, make a quick trip to Ling's (or neighbors) and have transport if we want to dine out that evening.
Just my opinion.

Sat on the patio for lunch....cab fare was as expected.rented a car on lour first visit.Philip is on the road a lot as part of work so we take cabs or walk.Very windy today but beautiful as ever..the only thing to think about is where to est tonight!!!!...............

Another beautiful Aruba morning Philip has gone for his morning beach run....I of course am drinking tea on the patio...another beach day. Dinner last night at Taste of Belgium. More relaxation wand food( and drink) ahead!!! Susan.

Susan, hope to see you and Philip on the BB party Monday 28th. We are already enjoying the very nice weather for 7 days. It is warmer then normal, but also very windy. Not a single drop of rain until now.

Another beautiful lazy day on the beach! Last night had great Indian food at Tandoor.Tonight we ate at Ginger and agree with Amy...we found the food bland. This morning Philipsaw the goat on the beach walking along with a lady with two dogs!!hope these updates are not too boring..we just like to laze away our time here!! Susan.
