Thank you Amy. Sounds and looks like you had another wonderful time, as usual. FYI, I ordered the personalized M&Ms and received them this week. Everyone is going to be so pleased. Had the following 3 imprints: I Love Aruba, Playa Linda and PL Sunsets. Thanks for suggesting them.

The adjectives are always the hardest part, especially when describing restaurants! Laughing

Just looking at the photos in more detail...

The photo of Peter the bartender is a horrible shot if you notice my wine glass right in the foreground (you can even see my lipstick marks. Embarassed

)

I want to go back to White tomorrow and have that piece of tuna and mango salad again...I'm in love with that dish (shhh, don't tell Mike! Razz

)

And I still can't believe I forgot to pack my beer koozies and my towel clips - geez, that should be number one on my list! Laughing

Just loved your tripreport! I tried to safe if for when I get home and have the I didn't want to leave Aruba blues, but couldn't hold my curiousity. Love the pics as well. You did eat nice. Apart from the meat the things I like as well. I'm going to chek out White. Went to see the place yesterday, but DH wanted to check out the new Taste of Belgium first. It looked nice in a lounge kind of way. I do hope once we will be on the island on the same time. Hanging out with you sounds like fun.

Me too, I like their food. I had the scrimps and they were great. The only thing that is a bit on the dowm site is the quality of their waitresses. I always hve the impression they use schoolgirls with not much talent for the restaurant business.....

Lovely pictures! So much food! Amy, the last picture in the series I assume is one taken at the beach bar and I couldn't help wondering if that was a picture of Vincent, the former limbo dancer? It looks like him, but considerably older than the last time we saw him in his 'electric' pants putting on his show at the Divi. He was a great entertainer with his grand daughter as his assistant. Sure miss seeing his show.

They still have the limbo shows but once you had seen Vincent, they all are a bit disappointing... and you can tell him I said so!!

The last photo was taken at Mango's new breakast station in the morning. I'm not sure who the gentleman/chef was who was making my eggs. But Vincent is still at the beach bar during happy hour making wonderful drinks for everyone. I'll have to get a picture of him on the next trip. I remember him performing the limbo at the old Aruba Grand for many years.....he was great!

Sorry, my bad! Although I thought it looked familiar?? Anyway, it would be nice if you could post a picture of Vincent. No reason why I shouldn't do it myself when we get there in Nov. but I know he still has a lot of fans out there who were sorry for his accident and still miss his show!!
