White Modern Cuisine opened at the Palm Beach Mall, perhaps a month ago. Tonight, Mrs. 44 and I enjoyed an excellent meal there, about the highest quality I've had on the island. The menu is concise but every dish is well-crafted and you can watch the chef plating them depending upon where you sit. For appetizers, we started with scallops and a maple glazed duck. Both outstanding. Entrees were Chef's fish, a mahi mahi, and a filet. Again, both remarkably good. This place deserves a loyal following, and if for no other reason, the mojito flavored with passion fruit that Mrs. 44 said is now her favorite.

Prices are serious, just like the food, and worth every penny.

It looks good.
However, I am reminded of the episode on Cheers long ago when Norm looked at his plate and said "Please be an appetizer."
All kidding aside, I think it should appeal to some people...a nice place for a special event meal.
The comment that "prices are serious" may deter some people (unless they can see actual prices on an online menu). Who knows what will happen then?
