My friend and I are going to be in Aruba for 11 nights. We are looking forward to some sunny warm weather since it is still snowing here. I would just like some suggestions on where good local restaurants are, good fun night clubs and if there is any bouldering/climbing available around the island. We will try and hit up the BB party on Monday the 9th. |

Where are you staying? Do you want restaurant suggestions that are walkable or will you have a car?
The hike up the Hooiberg is always fun and a great view from the top. If it's clear, you can sometimes see Venezuela in the distance. Also Casabari rock formations and Ayo rock formations are fun. _________________ ~Amy~®

We are staying at the The Marriott Surf club for 7 nights, and The Seabreeze Apt for 4. We will not be renting a car... at least right now we are not renting a car. It really doesn't matter about location for restaurants, but for the night life, probably walking distance. Thank you for your suggestions. I have been counting down the days for this trip since Feb. |

You will need a rental car to get to the Hooiberg and the rock formations.
The Marriott is located in the Palm Beach/high rise hotel area. Alot of bars, restaurants, casinos, and shopping to walk to in that area.
A couple of good beach/pier bars: Bugaloe and Moomba's
Other walkable places for nightlife: Cafe Rembrandt (they have live music on certain nights), Cafe Pijp, Upstairs Aruba, Soprano's Piano Bar _________________ ~Amy~®
