|
|
We launched a Currency Converter & Travel Sheets today.
Although many rates are listed in US$, sometimes you will see the
Aruban Florin (gasstations) listed.
But for those who has a different currency at home, it is very handy to
have a travelers currency sheet.
The Currency Converter and Travelers Currency Sheet calculate
between the following currencies (daily update, are base currency):
AWG = Aruban Florin
USD = US Dollar
CAD = Canadian Dollar
EUR = Euro
GBP = British Pound

We hope that you think it's handy too!

This is great! We'll definitely be printing it out and using it for Europe this summer! _________________ ~Amy~®

With the USD to CND exchange rate where it is today, it's almost unnecessary. _________________ No matter where you go, there you are. |

Good grief. The last time we were in Britain the dollar was worth a whole lot more.
That's a very handy page, Melvin. _________________ Aruba Trip Reports |

Thank you for putting this on the site. We'll be bringing a printout to help with pricing. |

Hate to be a CAD and complain but on your currency sheet when Canadian dollars is selected, it identifies them as GBP. Hey! we may still be in the Commonwealth but we are independent!
For years I have used a printout of an Excel worksheet that converts between AWG, CAD and USD. It requires entering the base rates and then generates tables. With CAD and USD almost at partiy it is not as important but years ago my wife would think everything in USD was a bargain until I converted it to CAD for her.
Very often, I would assist other tourists who were confused over AWG pricing where the USD equivalent was not posted.
The handy alternative to a sheet is half the AWG price and add 10%. Not right on but in the same neighbourhood. |
