Auntie, I have to tell you that I saw a woman at the Amsterdam Manor who resembled you very closely. (Basing this off of photos I have seen of you of course) I had to look a few times without being rude and even attempted to go up and introduce myself. Then I realized it couldn't be because you had just come back from Aruba. I was almost tempted to take a photo of this woman and post it for you. It's fightening how you can run into people who resemble another. _________________ Mike

Great photos....I want to be there right now!
Hey - saw your cooler in one of the photos! How did that work out for you on the beach for your drinks?
Looks like you saw some nice sunsets, too! _________________ ~Amy~®

The cooler worked great Amy. We stashed our water and drinks in there and the ice kept it all cold throughout the day-as long as we kept it in the shade. Great advice as always and thanks again for all of your help! _________________ Mike

That is scary. Especially since I have a half sister whom I've never seen.
(I don't suppose she, too, travels in the company of a rubber duck ) |

OMG!! Wouldn't that be scary!!
Mike - glad the cooler came in handy! I don't know what we would ever do without ours (probably have one hefty bar bill if we were forced to buy drinks at the bar all day long!)
And I think those must have been photos of MY Amstel Bright, too - except I wasn't there to drink it!
So now that you've done both AI and non-AI.....which do you like better? And be honest - I can take it! _________________ ~Amy~®

I thought of you Amy when I was drinking them and they were quite refreshing. I'm a big beer drinker as you can tell by the photos, and it takes a bit of convincing for me to switch beers. Amstel Bright reminded me a bit of drinking Corona but had less after taste.
You should know me better than being dishonest. After doing the non-AI, I would definately do it again. We surely will on our next trip. The AI will only serve you house liquor for drinks. If you like Capt. Morgan, Absolute, or Seagrams in your drinks, then you won't enjoy AI. Secondly, the food at the various resturaunts are very good. You would have to be almost naive to pass up the opportunity to experience the Arubian cuisine. Buffet foods offered in AI only offer you the basics. Going non-AI gives you better variety and better drinks! We're happy with our choice. _________________ Mike

We haven't decided yet. There's a lot going on with my job and my folks haven't been very well and they are in their 80's now. We hope to go again this time next year. Time will tell. _________________ Mike
