I think most of us are looking at the same thing and dreaming of Aruba.

We don't have that much snow yet but I'm sure it's coming!
Sounds like you had a great trip! Let the countdown begin.....

Just heard over the radio that we have another snow advisory tomorrow. Additional 3-5 inches coming and maybe up to 7 in some areas. It has been mentioned that this has been the coldest on record since WWII for our area. Aruba cannot come soon enough. GET ME OUT OF HERE!!!!!
Now it has been mentioned by my boss that I may have to cancel my trip in February due to complications occurring here at work. NOT GOOD!

Tell him he's the BOSS, let him worry about that.

Thank you for your kind support...I will know more tomorrow when we have our meeting after lunch. Maybe I'll exercise the Emergency Medical Leave Act

We just had 20 straight days of snow here in Michigan, then we had the last 6 days of cloudy, dreary, rainy days. I needed hot sunshine! It's been almost 2 years since we were there after going every year for the last 20 years.
Still have concerns whether we can go as I just had rotator cuff surgery and need to start physical therapy next week. Doc thinks it will be no problem but may curtail my activities.
Counting the days. We have friends coming down for a week for their first visit. They are geeked.

I had PT for a rotator cuff which "froze" up while I had an arm in a sling. At the beginning I could not raise my arm enough to even button the top of a blouse.
The PT consists of range of motion exercises many of which they can teach you to do on your own with the help of a pulley thing and a long scarf. If your PT is anything like mine it should not keep you from going to Aruba.
You may have to hoist your Balashi with your other arm, though.
I wish you the best of luck!
