I am pretty sure you are both down to single digits before your departure to Aruba. Have a great time and check-in when you can!
FYI - they now have passport "readers" at Aruba immigration to the left as you go down the escalator. If your passport has a chip in it (located on the front cover) you can use the passport reader lines. However, I had a chip in mine and my husband did not and they still let us into those lines which were shorter than the other lines.
This was the first time (in 32 trips) where we arrived and immigration was so packed (a lot of U.S. and South American flights) that they held us back at the top of the escalator for awhile. It was crazy! We talked to others throughout the weeks who had the same experience and we all arrived on different days so the day of the week didn't matter. Pack your patience and sense of humor.
Our departure, on the other hand, was a breeze. Left on a Tuesday and the time between checking in at the airline counter and arriving at our gate was about 30 minutes. _________________ ~Amy~®

Thanks Amy!! One more sleep and we are on our way. I believe Glenn leaves today for Toronto, then onto Aruba tomorrow.
No chip in my passport, but I will make way all the way to the right hoping to get called over to the residents line. I will have to renew my passport when we get back, so I will be ready with my chip next time.
Will check in from time to time. Take care!

Carol - the resident's line was packed and no better than the other regular lines. The whole area was packed with people. Your best bet is the passport reader line now. Hopefully, your flight will get in at a time when 7 other flights aren't arriving. _________________ ~Amy~®
