Okay so I've been to aruba several times but last time being nearly 10 years ago and traveling with my then small four children, staying at casa del mar. Now in three weeks I'll be back staying at the Hyatt. I understand many new restaurants to try, back in 2005 flying fishbone was the happening place to be . So, any ideas. Suggestions, romantic restaurants , places to see. Etc. any tips or information about the hyatt.? We booked an oceanfront king room , please offer anything to me you can ! |

Wow...so many new restaurants have opened up since then that I don't know where to start.
Our favorite romantic beach dining restaurant is Passions (located on the beach at Amsterdam Manor.) We haven't been back to Flying Fishbone in a few years now - they added so many tables to their beach area that it's not romantic for us anymore.
A couple of casual places that we like are Barney's and Bingo's which are located not too far from the Palm Beach hotels.
We also like Screaming Eagle for an upscale dinner.
Our favorite beach/pier bar in the Palm Beach area is the Bugaloe - located by the Radisson at the end of DePalm Pier. Great casual place to hang out for drinks, lunch, and live music at night.
You might want to try this restaurant website and sift through the various restaurants: http://www.restaurantsaruba.com/all.html _________________ ~Amy~®

I loved Barefoot, Passions and Ricardo's for romantic on the beach diner- you no longer have to drive so far!
I agree with Amy- Bingos, Barneys and Bugaloe for casual dining. Try Sunday night at Bugaloe for a fun band! _________________ Christmas 2015 at Disney World!

It's only about a 5-8 minute taxi or bus ride.
We don't go to Palm Beach very often anymore (except to the Bugaloe) so I can't help you with the Hyatt. I do know that they have beautifully landscaped grounds (we've walked through many times in the past) and the balconies to most of their rooms are French balconies (you can only step out onto them - no room for table or chairs.) _________________ ~Amy~®
