Check out my nice ticker below! We're booked baby! Can't wait! It's a long ways away, but it'll be worth the wait. Now I need some catching up to do with you fine folks. Gosh, where do I begin? It's been 5 years since we visited the island. Anything we should know about since then? We chose to stay at Manchebo because it just an awesome beach and the staff is great! _________________ Mike

Congrats. I know the feeling. It has been 10 yrs since I have been to Aruba and 12 since I have stayed at Manchebo beach and Yes it has an awesome beach. It actually came down on my upcoming trip to either the Tam or Manchebo as I stayed the 1st time going to Aruba at the Tam. The Tam won out as I just had to have an Oceanfront room and all the Tam is that way. When I stayed at Manchebo in 2002 I had an oceanview and AI for breakfast and dinner so I had steak and Grouper at the French Steakhouse. It was excellent. You Made a good Choice. _________________ Born to Raise Hell and enjoy every minute of it

Thank you Amy. What kind of changes should I expect? (Never get tired of the beach, however. ) _________________ Mike

Tons of new restaurants/bars....shopping malls in the Palm Beach area and a new shopping area outside of Alhambra Casino that includes a few fast food places, a few shops, wine bar with music, and a nice little mini-mart.
There is also the trolley downtown that starts at the cruise ship port and takes you behind the Renaissance and down Main Street for shopping at the local stores. The trolley is free. _________________ ~Amy~®

Hi Amy and welcome back to American soil. Hope you had a great time on your last island visit! My wife and I are booked for January 17-24, 2015. We tried looking into a 10 day trip, but funds and cooperative flights schedules prevented us to do so. We sure would love to meet you and your hubby sometime. Are you planning on any trips there during our visit? _________________ Mike

Hi Mike -
Shoot! I was hoping you were going earlier. We're looking at either early Nov. or might try going for NYE again. _________________ ~Amy~®
