Good morning Amy,
I hope your friends have arrived safe and sound and that this email finds all you well.
Have you been for your morning beach walk? When you come back from your walk, how about you and your gfs joining us (your bb friends) for coffee, croissants and mimosas?
A special "hello" to Stacey from her Canadian colleague. Please tell her I have another 9 days of madness till everything is "in the can." Our "drop-dead date" in Canada is April 30th.
Sunday mornings in Aruba are always special; so warm and beautiful and without the traffic congestion of weekdays.
Any plans for the remainder of the day or are you just taking each day as it comes?
Have a great day Amy.
Have a super day in our favourite place dear friend.
Glenn

Had a quiet beach walk yesterday and spent the morning on the beach. Feels like I never left.
My friends arrived yesterday around 2pm. We had a few drinks on the balcony after they unpacked and then headed to the beach bar for happy hour.
Last night had dinner at Barney's, then drinks at Bingo's with Mike and Franz, and then later to Cafe 080 to meet up with a couple of other friends who live on the island.
Dinner at Barney's was great - had a wonderful salad with chicken, balsamic dressing, and goat cheese wrapped in bacon. Late night again but fun catching up with everyone.
Beautiful sunny day on the beach today - hot but not too hot and a nice wind blowing. We are meeting alot of people on the beach because of our Boca Clips (towel clips that hold the towel on the chair) - met a nice couple from Australia today who stopped by admiring the clips. I think we should have bought a box of these and sold them on the beach. LOL!!
Just relaxing on the balcony right now. El Gaucho tonight at 8pm!
Glenn - still haven't had my morning mimosa yet....but definitely tomorrow! _________________ ~Amy~®

Good morning Amy,
I hope you and your friends had a lovely dinner at El Gaucho last night. This may not be polite, but I'm going to ask you anyway. You don't have any vegetarians among your friends there, do you? I can't imagine anything more embarrassing than going to El Gaucho, and having one of the party say "I don't eat meat. What else do you have". Such people should be...Sorry, going on a rant. Haven't been on one for a while.
It's just after 6:30 there, so how about coffee and croissants with your bb friends when you come back from your beach walk.
I'm kind of looking forward to hearing about when you and your friends have your "Meet Me in St.Louis" adventure; with you Amy, in Judy Garland's role. You know; "Clang Clang Clang went the trolley, Ding Ding Ding went the bell."
Have a great Monday in Aruba. The rest of us have to go to work now.
Glenn

Good morning, everyone!
We're all up early having coffee and mimosa on the balcony.
Last night's dinner at El Gaucho was excellent! There were a total of 6 of us and we all had the Gaucho steak (no vegetarians ) and a couple of pitchers of sangria. I never laughed so hard, so long in a long time...fun night!
Came home last night and just had a glass of wine on the balocny before headeding to bed.
Aruba is just waking up....quiet sunny morning....and another beach day for us.
Oh, we asked around a bit and heard the trolley is STILL not running. We're going on the Tranquilo tomorrow which leaves from downtown now so we will definitely have a "look see" after the snorkel cruise and see where this elusive trolley is located. _________________ ~Amy~®

Had a great beach day yesterday.
We hit the new Super Food later in the afternoon for "supplies". Great store!
Then since we have a newbie in our group we took her to the Bugaloe, then Nos Clubhuis for a beautiful sunset view and a glass of wine, and Moomba Beach Bar for drinks.
Dinner at Bingo's last night - wonderful as always.
We're up early this morning with coffee on the balcony. Headed downtown in about an hour for a sail/snorkel on the Tranquilo today. _________________ ~Amy~®

Mornin' Amy,
You'll probably get this when you get back from your morning beach walk.
How was yesterday's sail and snorkel adventure?
Where was dinner last night? Are you going to Amadeus sometime on this week?
Sounds like you and your friends are enjoying wonderful weather. Everybody is using lots of sunscreen, aren't they? Even the most seasoned visitor can sometimes forget how strong that Aruban sun can be.
Have a great day.
Bye for now,
Glenn |

We had our photo posted on the Tranquilo's Facebook page yesterday:
https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Tranquilo-Charters-Aruba/105298909104?hc_location=timeline
Stacy made t-shirts for all of us (our other friend KV wasn't in the photo) with different colors. The 4 of us walking around downtown yesterday around the marina got a few "Hi kitties" from the boat owners. LOL!!
Fun day on the Tranquilo with Anthony and Buster the dog!
Afterwards we sat at a table by the pool for awhile with a glass of wine and then went to dinner at Casa Tua. The Palm Beach area was packed around the restaurants. Casa Tua was just okay - no need to go back for awhile. Pallm Beach just keeps getting more and more busy and it's kind of a turn off for me at night.
After dinner we went to Cafe 080 for a drink and to see our friend Peter the bartender. Told Peter about the cockroach we saw in my car and he had a really good bug spray (that smelled llike air freshener) and sprayed my car for me. We were exhausted from the day and in bed early last night.
Had mimosas on the balcony and now getting ready for the beach. This is the girls' last full day (they leave tomorrow) but I'm here until next Tues. _________________ ~Amy~®

Just spent the mornings on the beach with the girls. They're packing now and headed to the airport in about an hour or so.
I'll probably head back to the beach after they leave and contemplate dinner tonight. Too many places yet on my list and not enough nights. But I will definitely be going to Screaming Eagle before I leave next week. _________________ ~Amy~®
