Took everyone's advice and grabbed those tickets on Delta - two for $786! I have never paid that low before from NY....It will be twelfth trip back and I can't wait!

I think you got a great deal.
I remember paying $650 from upstate NY via JFK around 2001-2002.
We could have paid as low as $373 from Orlando this year, but opted for $40 in seat charges.

Thanks, all! I think it is too. I remember John one year paying about $800 each. The odd thing is that the flight is almost full, so why would the price be so low? The only bad thing is Delta is unreliable out of NY. I know you use them Amy, but from here, they are usually late or cancel flights!

We've been using Delta about twice a month for work trips (all non-stop flights out of MSP) for the past 4 years or so (since they merged with Northwest) and, knock on wood, we have no complaints. We started using them to Aruba to add to our frequent flyer miles and, again, no complaints.

So far, with our frequent flyer miles we've been able to use them for free flights to London, Amsterdam, and two trips to Paris (first class on the Paris flights.)

I can't say that I love them (they are an airline afterall - LOL) but so far they've delivered for us for both business and vacation trips.

Hey, frequent flyer is frequent flyer! That is great!

John- they stranded my daughter (20 at the time) in Raleigh, just cancelled the flight. They were going to put her on a 10pm flight, until she walked around the airport and saw a flight leaving at 3pm. She asked to b put on that instead. Why didn't they do that to begin with?
