So are flying in on the 8th and this is our second trip, family of 4 w/ 2 kids 5-9. Is there anything that is a must do... Last trip we just did the beach and pool thing and I want to do something with the kids one night. Just wanted to see if there is anything that is a must do or that they would love.

staying at the surf club...

thanks!

I was typing some suggestions and then I saw that one of your kids was 5. So now I'm at a loss.

Will you have a rental car during your trip?

How about a sunset cruise on one of the pirate-type boats or a catamaran?

Not a night thing, but they may enjoy Phillip's Animal Garden or the Ostrich Farm.

And the Donkey Sanctuary.

Also the nightly fountain show at Paseo Herencia is kinda cool. Maybe grab some ice cream afterwards?

With kids for sure do the Ostrich Farm, Butterfly Farm, Donkey Sanctuary and Phillip's Animal Garden. It will be a nice break from the beach and get everyone out of the sun, more or less, for the day.

Rent a car for one day and wear you swim suits. Stop at the grocery store for carrots and apples for the donkeys and if you want, to make a day of it, the makings for a picnic lunch.

When the kids are beginning to get just a bit bored as they surely will. Make a stop at the little beach at Boca Catalina for a swim and your lunch stop.

From there you can head up to show them the lighthouse and view over the end of the island and pick up the rest of your tour.

If you did not want to make a day of it, but just a few hours, you could also hire a private taxi at $45 per hour (for the four of you) for a couple of hours to take you to your preferred sites.
