MrMedoes and I are here! Arrived at AMBR around lunchtime on Sunday. Ate at White Modern last night. 5 stars and then some for presentation!! We had the table closest to the kitchen area and it was interesting to see the plates being constructed, so to speak. Wine list is bare bones, but that's based on our standards, being somewhat snobs in that department, but they made some great cocktails!

Service was accommodating, but lacked any "charm" I'd call it. We had a little more banter from our server at Passions our first night, so I will chalk it up to it being still new. Food was really good! I had corn chowder that had actual popcorn in it and our entrees were the sirloin and pan fried shrimp.

Weather has been up to par, a little overcast today....made it nice to still catch some rays while not sweltering. Made a trip to Ling and Sons yesterday and got the required Bright supplies and other necessities. Of to Oranjestad in the short time here....

I had that same table at White and loved watching them "plate" everything.

Today is Michael's birthday and we're gearing up for another beach day...oh such the life!

Ate at Pizza Bob's last night...didn't make it there on our trip 3 years ago. It was delicious! Had a pitcher of balashi with a pizza and a cheeseburger, good times!

Dinner tonight is at Barefoot, looking forward to it!
