When we come to the island with first-timers, it is always part of the tour of the north end of the island. We usually approach from the lighthouse area. I know there is a sign where we turn left (where you turned right after passing the police station in Noord).
The prayer signs along the road are also interesting. I believe it is the "Hail Mary" in Papiemento.
Then, there is that road to the water tank. As mentioned before, it is a great view if you venture past the bad road surface, broken glass and litter. _________________ Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be - Grandma Moses (1860 - 1961) |
