Has anyone been to the Alhambra Complex. I was wondering if it is complete yet or still under construction. Walking to the Casino last year was a challange. _________________

It is a mess. Take the tram back and forth from your resort. We just got back and it is a mess inside and out. |

Amy - the only place we saw open was Subway and that was last month. We return to the island next month and will check and report on any progress we see. |

HI Amy
We have 9 more days to Aruba. This will be my 27th year in Aruba. I will keep going as long as I possible can. I love it. It is the perfect restfull vacation that I can think of. _________________

I thought I had read somewhere that the casino itself has a "shuttle" to the area resorts (ie, Bucuti). I've never seen one other than the ones that go to the Divi or Casa del Mar. Just wondering for night-time purposes as I'm unsure if I want to walk from the Bucuti to the casino alone. _________________

The tram to and from the casino is run by Divi Corporation and runs late into the night. We use it from our resort to go to the casino. Just have your front desk call and a tram will come and get you. It is a great service. You do not have to walk. |

Four months ago, we saw the tram coming over to the area by Pizza Bob's/Ellioti's restaurant. Not sure if it went on over by Costa Linda. Isn't there a fence between the Bucuti and Costa Linda? For the Bucuti, maybe you'd have to get off somewhere near the Casa Del Mar Ambassador building. I don't know the exact answers...just asking. _________________ Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be - Grandma Moses (1860 - 1961) |
