Melvin (webmaster) is working on it. Somehow even after we "ban" them they figure out a way to get back it. It's frustrating and time consuming. _________________ ~Amy~®

Maybe the sign-up should be changed to that is takes 'human' intervention by webmaster(s) before a newcomer can become a member. Since there are not a lot of legitimate people signing up, it shouldn't be much extra load on the webmaster.
The default method of just verifying an email address that most BB's use is too easy for the spammers who probably have access to many disposable addresses. _________________

Thank you all!
we add some additional codes and made some changes. It helps for a while.
And if it starts again, we change some things again.
Spammers / hackers: we have them everyday on our servers, so that's why
we a) seperate e-mail and webserver b) and more things to prevent.
Because we program a lot of anti-spam scripts ourselves, it is little bit harder
for spammers to do it. But this BB is not our software, but we made some changes. Sometimes they take the time to investigate what we did, they can spam.... So everytime we have to be smarter |
