Does anyone know if or where you can download a map on your Garmin of Aruba? _________________ Judy Slifer |

There was a thread on one of the boards a couple of years ago re Aruba GPS.
I looked at it and decided against downloading their private map and info.
They were also working on maps for other islands. |

I was able to download a topograhical map of Aruba at the following site. Not sure it it still is avalable. The map works on my Garmin etrex GPS. Doubt that it would work on a roadmap type GPS. We use for geocaching.

Suggest you try Venrut. It is the one mentioned above by qlaval, and it is worth noting there has been significant progress since the 11.04 version mentioned in that post.
The September 2011 version of Venrut incorporated over a hundred new waypoints and the correct routing of one way streets on Aruba. The October version added more points and corrected minor routing problems. Venrut was already very good on Aruba, but it should now be amazing.
Venrut is available free at GPSYV.NET:
Please let me know if any other corrections are needed!
