Had 5 nights in 2 BR condo at TDS and it was great. Condo had everything you could want/need. TDS visitors can use beach at Holiday Inn just 5 min. down the road but it is not a good idea. Beach is crowded and no shelter from sun is available. HI residents get up a 5AM to reserve the shelters. Better to go toward N. end of island to the public beaches Arashi which are smaller but just as good. Get there by 930AM and you get a shelter. TDS should offer beach chairs since these are a must if you go to public beaches. Other than that TDS staff is great and resort is perfect.
My fiance and I rented a 2 brm villa before our wedding that was in Aruba - it came with a pool overlooking the 16th hole and the beautiful ocean. The house was prefect! It came with everything even a laundry room!
My parents also rented a 3 brm with a pool right up the street from us. The houses are independently owned and decorated by the owners. We were very lucky that ours were sooo lovely. The food at the restaurant Ventanas del Mar was great as well. Cant wait to go back. Only 3 minutes from the Marriotts palm beach.
