Fifth Year!
- by
July 10, 2011

Just came back from our 5th year at the Radisson and are already starting to plan for our 6th! Lots of construction this year with the Aruba tower being reopened at the end of the summer. Thankfully the rest of the upgrades are completed. The hotel staff have done a nice job with the lobby being operated out of the Curaco tower. The rooms were nicely freshened from the remodeling but didn't lose a bit of the Caribbean charm that made us move from the other hotel where we always stayed before falling in love with the Rad! We really missed our 'last night' dinner at the Sunset Grille... but we will catch up next year! We chose Laguna instead and it was really quite an enjoyable dinner. We love the staff, grounds, services and the beach. It's definately the biggest streach of sand on Palm Beach. Never have a problem getting a palapa! Having toured all of the Palm Beach properties.... I can truly recommend the Radisson as the best!!!

Just returned from another outstanding vacation at this hotel. It is the best on the island. The Radisson has the best location on the beach and the property is lovely. But what makes our trip memorable is the staff -from the time we arrive to the time we depart, everyone we come into contact with, goes out of their way to meet our needs. Housekeeping, Laguna Breakfast staff, front desk, Beach staff and Resort Manager are outstanding.

We just returned from vacation at the Radisson. We had ten great days with our family at this hotel. This is our 16th year vacationing in Aruba. (Fourteen years at a different high rise; we switched to Radisson last year and were so happy that we decided to return this year.) The whole staff is really outstanding, great breakfasts and restaurants, wonderful pools and beach front, super clean rooms; we can't say enough about the Radisson. We definitely will return to Radisson next year.

Simply The Best
- by
June 10, 2008

We have been going to Aruba for the past 12 years. We LOVE the Radisson. It has everything you could want or need. Just take a walk along the beaches of the other hotels and the Radisson speaks for it self. It is the cleanest beach. The palapas are not too close to each other and are available in advance the previous day. It certainly beats getting up at the crack of dawn while on vacation. Highly recommend the Radisson.

We usually stayed at the Wyndham, loved that hotel but it changed to the Weston,we stayed there the first year but that's another story,if you want to hear about it ask me on the Aruba message board,I would be glad to answer any questions.Well seeing we didn't care for the Weston anymore we tried the Raddison. We had a Garden room, lovely, nice room, clean,I do think the hallways need some attention, musty smell,I think all hotels near water have that though,I'm trying to be honest in case someone wants to fix that problem.Love the way they do the hut's,you wait in the afternoon,it breaks up the day.The food at the bar is good and I like that the waiters bring it to your hut, nice waiters also.I just liked the way we were treated,I don't go on vacation to feel like I'm bothering someone,I'm not a kind of person that needs allot of attention but Id like to be recognized when I'm standing someplace.I felt like this Hotel was happy to see us there and treated us like we were on a vacation.

We have been to Aruba 4 times now. We think Aruba is one of the Best Caribbean ilands. We will continue vacationing in Aruba. The Radisson is a beatiful resort with a great beach, close to many great restaurants, and shops. The Radisson is a very relaxing resort. The grass huts are spread along the beach very well, however a side vendor put up umbrella's for people from the ships visiting the iland for the day. The food and the bars are very good at the Radisson, just be ready to spend about $18 for a grilled chicken salad at the beach bar. The salad was very good. We also used the phone in the room to make dinner reservations and had to pay $1.11 a minute to use the phone. We really loved the spa at the resort and enjoyed the casino. We will return to the Radisson for another great vacation.

Our 5th Year Coming April 23
- by
March 18, 2008

April 23, 2008 we will arrive for our 5th year at the Radisson. We stay for 10 nites and never one to leave.
From the time you reserve your vacation to your departure we are always IMPRESSED. The site is beautiful and the staff wonderful. We have tried to learn as many phrases of the local language and so enjoy talking to the staff. The Sunset Grille is always are last dining experience, don't miss it. The pools, beach and other restaurants are tops. At the lagoon restaurant they even recognize us by name. The Concierge Staff is ALWAYS there to give you the best traveling experiences whether it be restaurants, sailing, diving, snorkeling, or trying the super wave runners. We have many beautiful photos of the Radisson complex even the beautiful birds being fed each day sitting on us. The location and parking for our rental car is the best. We sat at the pool one day at our second visit wondering if we should try another hotel. Looked at them and decided not to change for just change sake when we have everything we need.(Learned how to make killer Lemon Drop Martinis).
Even the casino staff is most gracious in making sure the novice is well educated. I see the same casino staff each year and their friendship is far superior to Vegas.
Go enjoy, you will not be disappointed!!!! We live in Winston-Salem,NC and can hardly wait for April 23!!!

The Rad is Rad!

After staying at the Hyatt for 3 consecutive years, we moved to the Radisson last year and just finished this year's trip. The Radisson is absolutely perfect. Service, staff, grounds and facilities are top notch. The grounds are just as nice as the Hyatt in a less formal way. The rooms are superior, offer more of a Caribbean feel and the sit down balconies are a huge plus. Service at the Hyatt is just a bit better, but the Radisson is still perfect. The Sunset Grille is on our 'every year' list along with Mme J's. I crying when I count the many days until next year's trip! Highly recommended!

I just to thank everybody at Radisson! I spent my honeymoon there in december 2005 and everything was amazing! service, kind people hotel facilities. I can´t wait to go back to Aruba and stay at Radisson. The people of the Palm beach were great, too. We took some tours with them and they were incredible. Paradise Island and Snuba are the best! Dont´doubt, if you want to spend the best days of your life visit the happy island!

We have been going to Aruba since 1985 when they used to greet you right off the plane (you walked right on the tarmac) and they gave you flowers upon arrival. We have stayed at the Hyatt, the Marriott, the Holiday Inn, Golden Tulip etc. Nothing compared to the Radisson. Had our 30 year anniversary there in 2004 with 20 of our friends. They accomodated us with everything we needed to make a perfect celebration. We continue to go every year for the week of Thanksgiving & have nothing negative to say about it. We stay in the Penthouse. However, no matter where you go in the hotel, we found only polite people. Tourism is their main source of income, so I'm sure if there are any problems in the hotel, they want to make you happy & resolve them. They want to have you return to their hotel. We only wish here in Florida when we stay at a hotel, we are treated as well.

In a word: WOW!

August 14, 2006

Our first stay at the Radisson and they exceeded our expectations! Can't stay enough good about the staff, grounds, rooms, beach, restaurants and pools! In a word: WOW! We usually stay down the beach at a similar size hotel without sit down balconies..........The Rad offered that and more. Do not miss the Sunset Grille, best steak I ever had was on this trip at the SG. The casino was a lot of fun and the staff was wonderful! Rad is our repeat destination for 2007!

My husband and I spent five days/4 nights at the Radisson last week. We had a lovely time. The landscaping is marvelous and the staff is very friendly. The rooms, although small, were very intimate and well-appointed. The beach area is the best on the island but book your palapa early...they go pretty fast!

The pool area was soothing and there is alway somthing to do or you can simply do nothing! The food at the restuarants was good and the service was excellent. We loved our stay so much that we will be going back next year, prayfully. You can't go wrong with the Radisson.

Went to Radisson for honeymoon in June 2004. It was amazing. The buffet breakfast had some of the freshest, best pineapple I have ever tasted. It had wonderful service and the grounds are gorgeous and lush. The only downside is having to get up so early to reserve a papala.

My wife Joanne, daugher-in-law Sue, son Rob and myself spent a week at the Radisson in Aruba. The rooms were ready at 2pm which was great since the official check in time is 4pm. Joanne and I got room 1715, which had a great parcial ocean view. Rob and Sue got room 1313 which had a very poor view, even though we both paid the same price. Rob and Sue did not want to make an issue of it because all they wanted was to start having fun on the sand at Palm Beach.

Joanne and I ate breakfast at the Laguna buffet every morning. The omelet station was very good. There was always plenty to eat. Rob and Sue opted for a bagle and coffee for breakfast but ate lunch at Gillians. We ate one night at the Sunset Grill. The food was excellent and the service superb.

The staff at the Radisson were very attentive. They took care of all our needs. The maid service was excellent in taking care of our rooms.

Rob and Sue liked the casino in the Radisson. They said that the frequency of payoff was more frequent than at the other casinos. I think they just got lucky there. As far Joanne and I were concerned we were just contributers. We plan to return next year. This was our 7th trip to Aruba and we feel that the Radisson was the best hotel we have stayed in on Aruba.

Honeymoon Heaven

June 14, 2005

My husband and I went to Aruba for our honeymoon in August 2005. Aruba is beautiful and the Radisson is the best place to stay on the island! The lobby is amazing, the rooms are gorgeous throughout, the pool is wonderful, and the beach is perfect. Plus, the concierges were so helpful is setting up everything we wanted to do. We wandered around to other resorts in the area and no matter where we went, we always felt that the Radisson was better. My sister and her husband went to the Wyndham, but the beach there is painfully windy - not at the Radisson! We visited the Hyatt because that was our other possible choice, but the pool and the beach were so much nicer at the Radisson. When we go back, we will definitely stay at the Radisson!

Amazing Hotel!

My family and I stayed at this hotel with little to no expectations about the Radisson's quality. However from the minute we stepped out of the cab we were wowed by this beautiful hotel. From the Lobby to the rooms to the beautiful beach there was something for every member of the family. I would never stay anywhere else on the island the Radisson was the perfect resort for our getaway. We even had the chance to see a wedding on the beach and it was one of the most beautiful cermony's that we have seen. I highly recomend this hotel to honeymooners, seniors citizens, families or anyone wanting an Aruban vacation!!!
