This was our first time in Aruba and I think we chose a great spot to stay. Divi Village had friendly staff who were willing to help with anything you needed. The rooms were recently updated and were very spacious. The grounds were maintained and very beautiful. With the variety of pools, you had your choice of a relaxing dip in the infinity pool, or a lounge in the pool by the restaurant, or an exciting ride down the water slide. It had easy access to the beach and transportation around the island. The restaurants on site were fantastic. And while we did not golf, the 9-hole course was beautiful to see! Vanessa at the concierge desk was very helpful in pointing us in the right direction on our daily activities. We would definitely recommend Divi Village to anyone going to Aruba for relaxation as well as excitement.
I bought a time share here and have now made three trips down. It is always clean and fairly well maintained. My only real complaint is the charge of $50 per week for sketchy Internet service. If you like staying in nice accommodations and don't like roughing it, the Divi Golf and Beach is a good choice. Pool areas are clean and have ample lounge chairs. No room service. Grocery stores are close. Golf is on site.
We received a time share week in Aruba from my brother-in-law for our honeymoon and stayed at Divi Links. I cannot say enough about the place- friendly and attentive staff, clean, beautiful room, amazing pool, private romantic pool and great restaurants. We liked it so much we purchased a time share and plan on going back as many times as we can.
Just returned from a one-week stay. Loved the room, loved the service, loved how welcome we felt. Hope to return in the future and would love to repeat staying in the same place!
We enjoyed our stay at the Divi Village Golf & Beach Resort in June 2007.
The one bdrm suite was larger than many of the one bedrooms we have stayed at on the island. You could very comfortably sleep 8 adults. You would probably have room for a couple of cots as well. Bathroom was a little small and not much space on counter. Having the washer dryer in your room was wonderful. Watch out for the rust spots in the washer- I saw one right away and I think as long as you remove your clothes right after you wash them you wouldn't have a problem.
Staff at the Divi was great. Everyone at the front desk always greeted you with a smile. If you are exchanging a timeshare then you will be asked if you want daily housekeeping service- above changing towels- they charge you I think $60 per week. We opted out of that, as long s I have clean towel I can make my own bed- I found that if I left a $5 for the housekeeper she swept, changed sheets and did basically everything that I would expect a housekeeper to do.
Pool area near the Villas was beautiful and very clean. The pool near the tennis courts- bldg 8 was not as impressive unless you are looking for a shady area. Plenty of trees for that and with that comes the leaves in the pool. Since we stayed in bldg 8 we used that pool a couple of times, I was disappointed that the hot tub was anything but hot- luke warm at best.
Beach was nice, never had a issue with getting a palapa or chairs. The Ocean View Beach Bar was a nice place to enjoy an afternoon drink or 2- speed was not on the menu at that bar- there was only 4 people total in the bar and it took about 15 mins to get our drinks. Got to love ISLAND TIME!
We had lunch at the Sea Breeze Cafe it was just OK. Mulligans was dinner one night and it was wonderful.
Overall I was please with the Divi and would probably stay there again. For more info on my trip watch for my 2007 Trip Report.
~Happy To Go
We have been going to Divi for 6 years straight. Each time we grow to love it more and more.We refer all our friends and family to it.It the most relaxing and beautiful in Aruba.
Just got back from a week at the Divi Village/Golf and Beach Resort. The hotel was very nice and staff was pleasant. No problems with check in/out. Had great weather, which made the experience that much more enjoyable. One negative, maid service is not included and is $65 per week. They will change towels and empty garbages for free but other than that, the room is not touched.

This is a very clean property and secure!
Pools are great and the beach very near-by.
Resturants are very good food - possibly one of the best - prompt friendly service - Seabreeze !
I stayed at the Divi Village the last week of October 05. Check in was slow but it was due to allt he hurricane changes in Mexico and Miami. We were givin access to our room by 4PM and the week went well. The Golf and pool area is outstanding. We could use the pool but the bar that is in the pool was opening after we left. I am sure it is outstanding, the new units I hear are most impressive. We have stayed at this resort twice and it only gets better.
Purchase one week timeshare and loved it so much I purchased a second week and have been going there for four years now. The staff are very friendly and accomandating. Look forward to each June. They just built a new golf course and numerous luxery units. Now its even better.
