Modern, colorful, and striking, the high-rise Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort is rivaled only by its most outstanding amenity- miles of pure white sand beach.
Situated on Aruba's famed Palm Beach, and backed by a private wildlife sanctuary, the Divi Aruba Phoenix is a tropical delight among beachfront Aruba resorts. Clear aqua waves wash up on a beautiful wide beach dotted with thatch cabanas and inviting hammocks. A lively beachside bar and palm trees rim freshwater pools.
All studios and suites in the original resort section at the Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort feature colorful Caribbean decor and offer full ocean views with private balconies to take in the breeze. Standard amenities include fully equipped kitchens, air-conditioning, cable television with dvd players, and in-room safes.
2 outdoor swimming pools are on site along with a children's pool. Other recreational amenities include a health club, a spa tub, and a fitness facility.
Divi Aruba Phoenix Beach Resort has 2 restaurants serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The overall property is very nice. The Villas are more updated. The staff s friendly. The food in the restaurants are good as are the drinks. The beds need updating. As does their wi-fi. Incredibly slow. Overall it's a good resort and I would return again .
We've been coming to the Phoenix since it opened, staying at a beach front apartment. We've enjoyed our selection of time share over the years - family oriented, friendly service, quiet but with enough "spunk". Attention to detail and service obviously fluctuated over the years, but this year, especially, has been excellent.
We have a time share here in the older section called the villas, right down on beach level. The rooms are older and not as fancy but thats what we like. The new rooms are nice, fancy, even great but they lack the "charm" of an older building.
The could use some updating of the furniture and beds, but they keep it clean and more or less running well. Staff if friendly, food is good, drinks are cold. Check in and out is simple (more or less pain free).
Transfering between rooms from one week to the next is the biggest problem but they seem well versed and handle it smoothly, taking our fridge goods and moving them for us to the new room we follow a little later on...
Overall, I would say good to excellent. The staff have an unhurried but caring attitude and try to get us what we ask for when we ask.
