Aruba Rent A Villa

De vakantie zit er weer op. We hebben gedoken naar de verschillende scheepswrakken en vliegtuigwrakken. Van de drie duikorganisaties: Unique Sports, Red Sail en Fly 'n Dive kwam Fly 'n Dive als beste uit de bus. Ondanks de ruwe zee en deining, zodat 2 van onze groep aardig zeeziek werd. De duiken naar de vliegtuigen en de Antilla waren het mooist. Vooral het door de wrakken heen zwemmen. De "Sunset Front Desk Ladies' Jackie en Eline hebben ons uitstekend geholpen bij het vinden van de optimale duikcombinaties. Het surfen bij Fishermen Huts was heerlijk. Een uitstekende lokatie. Als strandje bij Spaans Lagoen met zijn mangrove begroeing beviel ons het beste. De bomen in het water gaven heerlijk schaduw voor baby Jens als hij in het water lag. En we werden niet gezandstraald door de harde wind. Baby Beach viel erg tegen. We dachten er mooi te kunnen snorkelen, maar er was onderwater niet veel te zien. Calabas is een heerlijk verblijf. 's Avonds was het gezellig BBQ-en met mooi uitzicht over het eiland. Als we het overdag te warm hadden, dan was het heerlijk om in het zwembad te springen!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Calabas- my husband, my 5 year old and myself. Right as you walk in to the home, the view is amazing!! You just can't beat it, really. The open concept of the home allows for the wind to easily flow through the home and you experience a constant and wonderful breeze. The pool is a really nice size pool and the set up around it makes it truly private, while the upstairs deck allows you to enjoy the sunset. I was a bit concerned that there is a road right by the house, but it is rarely used, so there is no traffic or car noise at all. The location is also great, as you are near to all high-rise hotel activities, downtown or easily head out anywhere on the island for some exploring (we did both).

The house was more than complete with utensils, dishes, pots, pans, etc-- and I really appreciated that the plates were all a nice ceramic white, glasses matched also. In other words, it was done with thoughtfulness and consideration to detail, which I personally appreciate. JP and Eve were really great and attentive if ever we needed them for anything or any questions.

My husband and I decided to stay at Villa Jaburibari for our honeymoon on Aruba. We wanted to stay somewhere more quiet and less touristy. We couldn't have made a better decision. Eve was so wonderful, helped us settle in and recommended some favorite places to visit during our stay. Villa Jaburibari was pure perfection! From the moment we arrived at the Villa we fell in love. Breathtaking views and tranquil serenity! The Villa was beautifully kept and included everything you could possibly need for your stay. Our private pool was awesome! We felt safe inside the villa as well as driving to and from the villa. The villa is only about 10 minutes away from some restaurants and beaches. My husband and I decided to rent a jeep so we were able to explore the island on our own. The food was AMAZING at every restaurant we visited. Flying Fishbone is a must. We visited practically every beach and they were all beyond beautiful! My favorite being Baby Beach! Villa Jaburibari truly became our home away from home. We can't wait to plan our next trip to Aruba and enjoy our stay at Villa Jaburibari once again!

Well...we had another fantastic vacation at our " Villa Calabas"..... It really is starting to feel like our home away from home......
I love the quietness.... Floating in the pool in the morning...with my cup of coffee at the edge of the pool and the sweet sounds of the birds....the evening...up on the deck...watching the sunset and all the beautiful stars in the sky....We both just love all the privacy and quietness....Again...it had been only a day after we returned home......and there we are. Back on line...ready to book another stay in April.....Can't say enough about this Villa...all one could ever want if you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, romantic, safe place to stay....

Villa Calabas has its own individual and unique style. You will not find any similar villa on the island. The design is perfectly matching the specific local conditions such
as wind, high temperatures and intense sunlight. It is located in a very smooth and silent neighborhood with amazing views over the island. There is no compacted housing in this area. This fact guarantees a very high level of privacy and the lack of disgusting boundary walls.
The interior design is according to an open space living concept that gives you a very relaxed feeling of freedom. The villa is really completely equipped. You will find everything what is needed to have great vacations. Mattresses are in very good condition and there are plenty of towels / linens, and so on ....
Being on a dry island you will be surprised about the outside area of Villa Calabas. There is a lot of vegetation. They have palms, giant cacti, trees, hibiscus, bougainvillea.... In addition, you will see dozens of very colorful lizards and even huge iguanas. Do not miss the beautiful birds that will be around the villa every morning.
Last but not least there is a really friendly and helpful Team around and with JP and Eve.
We really love this place and we want to come back next year for our honeymoon.
This is a true 5* location.

Our trip to Aruba was highly anticipated after a brutal winter in Canada. We looked forward to the beaches, snorkelling, horseback riding and windsurfing. We rented a car and planned to explore the island and all the various sites such as Arikok National Park, the caves, Ayo Rock Formations and the eastern coast and all it's natural beauty. We did all of these things, and everything was fantastic, but the real highlight of our trip was our house! After morning and early afternoon adventures we would stop by Super Food, grab something fresh for the BBQ, head home and the kids (9ys and 13ys) would jump in the pool and my wife and I would enjoy a beverage in the late afternoon sun. Perfection! The tunes would be of our choice and we could always find a deck chair, unlike some hotels we have stayed at. Dinner would follow on the upper terrace and the sunsets were spectacular.
I would strongly recommend this property, our host J.P. was very informative and down to earth. After our long journey to Aruba from Buffalo, we drove to the Sunset office to check in. Out of habit, the first thing I did was take out my wallet, the first thing J.P. did was say "can I get you a cold beer?!" It was clear right from the beginning that this was going to be a different experience! When J.P. learned that my daughter loves animals he dropped by one afternoon with his dog Spock for her to meet, clearly he is committed to his guests having a great time.
We will be going back to Aruba, and when we do, we will be staying in this house!

We've been to Aruba several times. Bucuti Resort was our favorite but we decided to experience a house (villa) this year. What a wonderful change. The quiet relaxed feeling got better each day. Everything we wished for, we had at our fingertips.
We regret having to leave but we will NO DOUBT return. Hopefully sooner than later.

The villa is extraordinary in all respects: fully equipped, fresh, beautifully decorated and perfectly clean. The photos speak for themselves. However bit far from the beaches. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming. We would not hesitate recommending it if you're looking for the perfect stay in Aruba.

Villa Calabas was van alle gemakken voorzien en zeer ruim van opzet. Het uitzicht vanuit de villa was prachtig. Binnen 10 minuten stond je op Palm Beach. Al met al een heerlijk ontspannen vakantie gehad!

This was our first trip to Aruba and Villa Calabas couldn't have been a better choice. It had all the comforts of home, plus its own private pool with a priceless view. If you are looking for a fantastic place to stay that is quiet, spacious, and close to everything you'd want to do...Villa Calabas is the place to stay! We are planning our next trip already and Villa Calabas is without a doubt where we will be.

We were recommended this property from a friend who visits Aruba regularly. The Villa is as breathtaking as the photos. Truly a home away from home and perfect for those traveling with a large group. My husband and I took our 4 adult children and 2 "significant others" and the size of villa was perfect. We ate all our meals around the large table on the patio with 8 chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture, including beds, was comfortable. The pool was large enough to accommodate all of us and enough patio furniture that we could all sit pool side. Extremely well kept property, it met my high standard for cleanliness. The owners J.P. and Eve were gracious hosts and treated us like family.

Its been almost two months since our stay and looking back at the pictures and thinking about our experience is almost emotional!!

The house is pristine and absolutely everything that I hoped it would be and then some.

Despite home rental not being our first option (we had been robbed at a vacation rental in the USA) the pictures of this house kept grabbing my attention and we decided to book.

As the date approached I looked at the pictures more and more and continued to wonder if the house rental was the right choice. I worried about our security, airport pickup arrangements etc. (this is a little different than walking up to a check in counter). As the date approached I checked in with JP and Eve and they were overly responsive which put many of my concerns at ease.

When we arrived at the airport my concerns continued to dwindle as literally within 30-40 minutes of exiting the plane, we had been picked up, gone through the car rental process, met up with JP and EVE and were following JP over to the house.

My excitement grew as we arrived, the outside and grounds were beautiful. The inside, the outdoor foyer area, the pool everything was perfect. I was slightly concerned about the temperature in the house as it was warm and I am very hot natured, but each room has its own ac unit and after getting them running for a few hours it was almost to cold!

As you can imagine security was one of my main concerns but the house is surrounded by a stone wall/fencing and "Aruba woods" which is cactus and other plants that literally would rip a person to shreds if they tried to get through it. On top these "features" the house is equipped with a state of the art alarm system that JP thoroughly explained how to use it. All of this combined made my security concerns dwindle to nothing!

The house has all amenities that you would need and more. The grill, outdoor patio and upstairs sitting areas are spectacular for having awesome times. In fact it is so awesome/beautiful that we ultimately ended up canceling most of our dinner plans so we could enjoy the house every night.

If I had to come up with a negative it would be that the beds are a little hard, nowhere near unbearable but this is the closest thing to a negative that I can come up with.

JP and Eve are awesome host!! Very attentive to your needs but out of the way if you don't need them!!

STOP THINKING/LOOKING AND JUST BOOK IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Jaburibari house was the perfect find for my destination wedding in Aruba. From the minute we arrived, we felt so welcome. The owner gave us a personal tour of the house and made recommendations for fun things to do and places to eat in Aruba. He even had discount cards to a local bar/beach equipment rental place, which was great! The house itself was perfect and looks exactly like the pictures online. The design of the house with its cross-ventilating windows really makes the most of that signature Aruba breeze and the pool/backyard area is just gorgeous. The landscaping, from the flowers to the cacti, is incredible and being up on a hill, fairly more inland made for a nice escape. Being able to eat at the large table outside was also a nice touch, and the house is ideal for entertaining. All of the rooms have large beds, air conditioning and TVs, and the open kitchen/living room area was very comfortable for a group of our size. There's a ton of storage space and a huge fridge you can stock with groceries from the local stores, and the house literally has everything you could possibly need in terms of appliances, flatware, ironing board, hairdryer, etc. We were able to take great pictures inside and outside the house on my wedding day, so if you're planning a destination wedding too, this house provides great photo ops! Since it is a bit further into the island, you will definitely need a car to get around, but that adds to the secluded vibe. It's also very close to Linda's Dutch Pancakes, which is a must if you're in Aruba. Thank you to the owners for a great experience and for giving us the perfect setting to celebrate. When you expect a nice holiday-home but end up in a villa, you can count your blessings. Jaburibari, through Sunset Beach in Aruba isn't just any place. Its a wonderful place!! Fully equipped with all you need: Airconditioning, BBQ, Security, Terraces, a full spec kitchen, TV/Stereo and most of all a wonderful swimming-pool! This place just made our holidays completely perfect. Located quietly, but within reach of all the action (Beaches, restaurants, supermarkets and shops)...... Thank you Eef and JP, we appreciated it a lot being your guests at Jaburibari!

Perfect house, perfect quiet location, a BBQ and a pool, this house couldn't be more complete. Although we were here for work, the 7 days flew by, we completely lost track of time.. JP & Eve, thanx for the good times at your villa, we will definitely come back..
