Divi Beach Resort - May 13-20th, 2001

Well it's been a week now since i have been home from the wonderful island of Aruba....It all started with a ealry morning flight out of Boston with a layova in Hartford. From there on it was a 4 1/2 hr flight to Aruba.
This was my girl friend and I first trip to Aruba....We stayed at
the Divi Beach Resort for a week its a all-inclusive resort......I really dont care for
the beach at all .....But let me tell you this it was all different when i
was on the island.....I actually checked in to my resort with a few drinks
inside of me after being greeted by the wonderful staff at the divi......So
after we signed the papers and all i was off to my room and into my
suit......My girl and I had a room which was upgraded from Lisa........Which i
once again say thanks......We had a room in Vista II room 423.......You open
the sliding doors and your right on the water......Anyways we changed got our
suits on and all and jumped into the bath water and white sands.....I could
not believe how wonderful the water was......
Well anyways that's basically it
for Sunday.......Monday morning rolls around so we went to the GWV
orientation where you have all reps from the local tours.....This is a great
place to book your tours and actually win a free tour or dinner show.....So
at this afternoon gathering we had booked our tours which included as
follows.....Mi dushi sun-down safari, kaku koo bus ride(Blast), Glass Bottom
sub ride and finally we won a tix to see the "Lets go latin show".......What
a blast this was at the Crystal Casino........If you like a show and a good
nite out i would go see this........It was excellent.......And for
reservations for dinner we ate at the resort here and there but i already
made resrevations for El Gaucho and Pirates Nest.......Both were wonderful
dinners and i was so happy to see Jorge at the Pirates Nest whom i had made
reservations with via email.....He actually greeted me the nite i was to eat
and had sat me at a great table so i could see the sunset.....
Over all my girl friend and i had a great trip and we loved the island and the people on the
Island and the people we had met on our trip....For example Meridith and her
friends whom i met while i was on the trip who aslo was reading the Bulletin Board to
learn more about the island.......I wanna thank you all for your info and if

Oh yeah for those gamblers out there.....I wanna
lend some advice and stay away from the Slots i repeat STAY AWAY ......I
swear there rigged.......Play the tables........Well hopefully i was helpful
to some of you and i actually hope to be back soon......I almost bought a
timeshare actually.....Well talk to you all lata
