Good morning everybody,

It's getting close now! Friday morning Donna and I are off to Aruba. It's a long day, but obviously we always feel that's it's worth it it.

We leave Winnipeg around 6:30am, and our routing is:

Winnipeg - Chicago on United

Chicago - Miami on American

Miami - Aruba on American

We get into Aruba just before midnight. We'll pick up the car Saturday morning.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the bb party at AM's beach bar on Monday, Jan.18, 2010.

Hi Tonya,

What day is your b-day? I'm sorry I'm going to miss it, but if you'd like to move the party down to Aruba, I'm at The Mill. Come on by at Happy Hour, I'll buy you a b-day drink!

Yes it's a long travel day but we're so used to it, we don't bother thinking about it anymore. Going to both Aruba, and Maui (we go there in May and Oct) is a full day's travel. We have non-stops from Winnipeg to Cuba, Mexico (about 5 places) and the Dominican Republic (as far as sun destinations go) but we're not interested in those places.

Thanks to everyone for your warm wishes on our holiday.

Amy; don't stand outside on Friday morning watching for the plane. Laughing

We're going United non-stop to ORD this time instead of Delta to MSP.

Tonya; my birthday was back on Dec.30, which makes me a Capricorn. That means I'm fun-loving and I pay attention to detail. (Okay, that part I made up) And you are a ...??? Oh, what kind of drink do you like? Just so it can be ready when you get to The Mill.

Tom and Karen. See you Monday at the bb. I gotta ask Karen, are you a shopper? Donna is. She's a "regular" at some of the stores dowbtown, especially on Mainstreet and in the Renaissance Marketplace. See you both on Monday.

Okay, back to work everybody.

Have a great trip Glenn!!! I wish I was there with you because Donna and I could do some SERIOUS shopping together. It's one of my favorite things to do!
