Worked great - gorgeous photos!

How was the dinner at the lighthouse? We scratched that one off of our list years ago because of high prices and mediocre food but was just wondering if they've gotten any better? It's just such a nice place for dinner - very scenic.

I had the linguine and clams...nothing to write home about. My husband got the lasagna, which I thought was great. Got the calamari for app and it was just like the ones you buy frozen and throw in a deep fryer. I think it's safe to assume that your last impression still holds true. I was told by a few people I met that Sole Mare is much better....we opted to go here for the atmosphere. Next time, we'll know better.

This was our fourth Aruba trip and all in all, I thought Flying Fishbone had the best atmosphere with Madame Jeanette's a close second. I felt that Marandi paled in comparison to FF. And Texas de Brazil was just our favorite for the food. Loved that place.

We were going to skip Flying Fishbone on this trip but after seeing your photos....I'm getting the itch to go there again (haven't been there in a few years.)

We usually just go the lighthouse now for the sunset, have a drink, and then go somewhere else for dinner. Your calamari sounds like what we had a few years ago when we decided to add an appetizer with our drinks and sunset - now we just stick to the drinks! Too bad they can't get their act together on the food. Sad

It is a shame, it's a really nice location. The highlights were watching the Kookoo Kunuku buses do their donuts in the parking lot near Arashi and meeting a kitten who took a liking to my husband's lasagna.

This was our first time at Flying Fishbone. We just never had the chance to fit it in....my husband felt that it took our food a very long time to come out...and he was probably right. I guess I didn't mind it so much because I was enjoying our surroundings. Had it been any other restaurant I would have been inquiring for sure.

Thanks - but I have to give most of the credit to my husband who wielded the camera 95% of the time.

Wow, the pictures came out wonderful! Jeff did a great job! The ones of the 2 of you at MJs and Texas de Brazil are adorable. I also loved the Radisson shots - they make me want to rent my timeshare at LaCabana and go there one year!

It looks like you guys had a great time!
