Sorry I haven't been around much lately.....

We were in NYC over Thanksgiving to see a show for Mike's birthday and to partake in the Macy's parade (both were a ton of fun!)

Since then, Mike's mom has been in the hospital after a heart attack. They put in 2 stents though and she seems to be doing much better. Between all of that is the Christmas frenzy of decorating, parties, dinners, shopping.....

I'm ready for a vacation (2 more weeks til Aruba!)

Hi Amy.

Yes Christmas is almost here. It seems it comes faster with each passing year. We have been busy too. Been to South Carolina over Thanksgiving week. Then back to work and it has been very hectic.

I have worked in the parade years ago. I helped to dress the Macy executives children in their costumes, and then made sure they were on the right float. It was the most organized chaos I have ever seen, and a lot of fun.

Sorry to hear of Mikes mothers health issues. My Mom had similar problems this past April, had a stent put in, and she is much better. She is doing very well for an 85 years young woman. I have to yell at her to not overdo it.
Yesterday was my BD, no I'm not telling my age Laughing

I am glad to hear Mike's mom is doing better! Very stressful, esp. This time of year!
Pretty good season here, I have been having lunches with old friends catching up! I am having a party on Sunday, then Christmas Eve and day with family- always a joy! Confused

One more week til Christmas and I still have a couple more gifts to buy. (First Christmas without my mom...this will be a tough one.)

Amy, I'm very sorry to hear about Mike's mum, but happy to hear she seems to be doing okay.

Had my sister, three nieces and their s.o.'s over for dinner and to exchange gifts. Earlier in the day I officiated at a wedding, and spent a couple of hours with my mum.

My shopping is pretty much all done. I really think Donna is going to love her new pail. It'll go great with the mop I got her last year. JUST KIDDING!!!
You know I'd never do that. Love her too darned much.

Had our staff Christmas lunch Friday afternoon. Had a lovely time.

Sorry I missed it last week, but Happy Birthday Carol.

Just to keep you all in the loop, mine is December 30. Loved the pirate outfit you guys got me a couple of years ago. Am I pushing my luck if this year I ask for....oh never mind.
