We leave from Erie PA tomorrow at 7 AM (weather permitting) and will get as far as Atlanta via Detroit. Then Friday we fly out of Atlanta for Aruba!!!!!! This will be our fifth trip and will be there through 12/12. To say I am excited is putting it mildly! _________________ Robin

Hope you had a good travel day and that you are now in Aruba enjoying the sun, the beaches, the dining, shopping, casinos and everything else there.
Most of all, have fun!

Wow talk about a dedicated visitor, Two legs, an overnight and a final leg the next day! There really should be a better schedule than that? Well, you gotta admit it, it's worth it!
We did that once on a land sea cruise in Alaska. Boston - Seattle - Anchorage - Fairbanks, all in one day! ...And that was worth it too.
Best view from the plane, letting down into Seattle with Mt. Shasta on our left in the near distance, Mt. Hood in the middle and way off, Mt St. Helen! Fantastic!! _________________ John...

It's the same from here. That's the reason we sold our timeshare. The trip was just too hectic for us 75+ seniors! _________________

I'm surprised you didn't see Mt. Rainier. We've taken a few vacations to Seattle (and I have an aunt and uncle who live there) and on clear days we always see fantastic views of Mt. Rainier from the plane and from the Space Needle (we've driven up the mounatin a couple of times, too - so beautiful there!) Seattle (and the surrounding area in Washington) is one of my favorite places to visit. _________________ ~Amy~®

Will be there when you are. Leaving MA ( and this cold weather) behind. Can't wait.
Love that heat when you walk outside the airport!
Enjoy your vacation. |

Sorry, of course it was Mt. Rainier! Slip of the 'so called' mind! Pretty hard to miss, it filled the whole Southern horizon!! ...And since we were on approach, we were well below the peak!
Thanks, Amy, for the correction!! _________________ John...
