Is there anything that I can bring that is hard to get there? Anything to barter with? ex) redsox gear was a prized possession in Mexico or coins for the kids in St Thomas. First trip there, so excited!

Congrats on your first Aruba trip! Very Happy

No bartering in Aruba like there is in Mexico. Aruba is a fairly middle-class country. In the stores/shops, the price is the price. The only place you can do a little haggling over price are at the high end jewelry stores - but again, no bartering.

We will be there in April as well - probably the first 2 weeks. Cool

Congratulations Stipah!! After my first trip I fell in love with Aruba and am heading back for the 6th trip in April. As for the Redsox gear, our friend always brings sports hats and apparrel to give to the beach attendants.....and he always seems to get preferred treatment!!!!! Smile

Yes, the bulletin board parties are still every Monday at 5pm.

Haven't booked our flights yet but right now leaning toward 4/2 - 4/16. Mike needs to be back early for work this year so the 16th is the latest he can stay. We're just thankful that Easter is early this year.

Darn! I'm going to miss seeing alot of people this year. Sad

We still have to adhere to work schedules to a certain degree so had to move the trip up to early April...unless something changes within the next month or so.....

Best wishes to visit Aruba for the first time in advance and this tour will be enjoyable.I would be there in june.
