Going back January 2012, looking to fill in one more night. My favorites are all set. Why not support a new good restaurant to help out. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dennis

For a casual meal, try Barney's - located next to Kong Fui supermarket. They just opened on Dec. 8th.

For a little nicer dinner, Carambola located at Paradise Beach Villas was very good when I tried it in Sept.

After 20+ years, we're mainly interested in places where local people go.
If that matches your taste, try Zeerover (down in Savaneta, on the same road as FF).
It is fresh fried fish (from the dock) with french fries.
Fried shrimp can be added to the basket.
The cost is based on how much fish you choose to be weighed out on the scale.
It's inexpensive. $30 in September for our 2 meal with 2 rounds of beer and diet soda.
Great sunset view.
If you are looking for high-end dining, this is not for you.

Thanks Amy, I did make reservations at Carambola's already it looked good. I saw you were talking about Barney's but I was looking for a nicer place. If nothing comes my way I wiil try Barney's. Thanks, either way I can't wait. I will be staying at the Bucuti again as your recomendation was great four years ago.
