This is a Dutch saying and if only everyone would live by that rule, the world would truly be a much better place. First the original quote in Dutch:
"Wat gij niet wilt dat u geschiedt,
doe dat ook een ander niet"
and what it means is: "Don't do to someone else, what you don't want to be done to you" _________________
