Amsterdam Manor got new pool furniture, umbrellas at the pool, and new pool bar furniture while we were there in Sept. The lounge chairs are SOOOOOO comfortable with nice thick cushions!
The first photo is of our balcony (and my morning Mimosa) looking toward the pool.
The other 2 photos were taken from the upper deck pool bar.

There is talk of getting the same type of lounge chairs for their beach, too! 
I owe all of my photography skills to the fact that I can now take 5 photos of the same thing and then delete 4 of them!

I'm sitting here laughing because when I read the subject I read to myself...Amstel Manor instead of Amsterdam Manor...boy do I need a "Bright" or what!!! I guess it was because I just finsihed looking at your other pics posted. 3 weeks from today...YIPPEE!!!

I think Amstel Manor is what we should call our room in Aruba - frig was very well stocked with Amstel Brights! 
You are definitely due for a vacation in Aruba!

| Trying too find a nice two bedroom on Eagle beach. The amsterdam Manor looks pretty good, but I'm reading alot of reviews regarding the smell. Is it improving. I am reading it in to many posts to think it's a one time thing. Cheers and thanks for any help.

I just noticed something strange about the last two pictuires??? The first one looked normal but the last two don't! Anyone else notice it as well???

There is a sewage plant in that area. Apparently, at certain times of the year there will be an odor that drifts in the direction of Amsterdam Manor and LaCabana. I've stayed there several times, and luckily, it has never been an issue during the times of the year that I've been there (spring and fall.)
But the good news is that earlier this year, the Aruba government has agreed to do something about the recurring problem. They agreed that by Nov. of this year they would increase capacity at the plant which should take care of the odor problems that you've been hearing about.
