Good morning everyone,

It's a gorgeous Labour Day here. The last long weekend of the summer. That means we are closer to our upcoming vacation in Aruba in October.

Our vacations in Aruba always include spending some time in downtown Oranjestad.

Which brings me to the point of this thread. Parking meters are supposed to be operational this week. We would just like to know whereabouts in the downtown these meters are and how much will it cost.

Apparently there is an Aruba Parking Authority website, but it is all in Papiemento. My Pap'nto is not very good, so has anyone seen an English translation of it?

The paid parking will not stop us from going downtown. That would be silly. We just want to make sure we do it right.

My stone bench outside Little Switzerland is calling!

Bye for now.

Interestingly the new parking situation has their own FB page

Maps and general info can be found at Aruparking

A majority of site is in Papiamento but some is in English

They respond very quickly to questions posted
