A new place called Truffles Restaurant & Bar has just opened up in the old Promenade restaurant location (across from Dutch Village).

No website yet but here's a link to their Facebook page. If you click on "About" there is a link to their menu as well.

Corrine - I hold you responsible for eating there next and reporting back to us. Wink

From the menu:

"...Service is our pleasure and is not billed."

Well done, Truffles, well done.

I will put it on my "list"!
I loved the sound of those coffees!
I don't remember where the Promenade was though.

"I don't remember where the Promenade was though."

It was located at the south east corner of the four-way intersection across from the Tamarijn.

I think we would try Truffles.
A couple years ago, we finally made it to the Promenade for a sort of 'prix fixe' meal. We enjoyed it because we never made it to the old San Nicolaas location.
As always, there are more than enough places to choose. Too little time (and maybe, too limited budget).

I'm sorry to hear the Prominade closed. Back in the day, we used to go there at least once per trip when it was located in San Nic. It had good food for reasonable prices!

Truffles prices posted on their Facebook page are on the high side, but not unreasonable. i suppose that's progress!!!
