I'm not interested in getting a phone that will allow me to call back to the States, like most of the other inquiries. We have a fairly large group going this time and we thought it might be handy to rent a couple of cell phones just so we can keep in touch between ourselves any where on the island. This means local calls only. So, can anyone tell me what my best options would be? Any recommendations? Etc.

Lee

Just my opinion, but I think rentals are based on the expectation that people will be calling off island. Maybe there is something like a local plan.

We have made do with calling cards for contacting the US which means the cost came down to about 25 cents a minute. We use resort telephones @ 50 cents per 3 minutes for making local calls.
