One of my top "family" restaurants is The Buccaneer. Try to get a table(s) next to an aquarium window.

The Flying Fishbone is more of a romantic restaurant but the kids might like eating out on the beach under the lighted palms.

I think Flying Fishbone for kids really depends on what the kids like to eat (this is upscale dining), how old they are, and if they can sit at a table for a period of time through dinner without being disruptive to other diners who are trying to enjoy a romantic dinner/evening.

I am usually on the island by myself take my contribution with a grain of salt. The top family friendly restaurants would naturally be Burger King and MacDonald's but I presume they are not what you are looking for. Flying Fishbone is not necessarily family unfriendly. You just run the risk of trying to rein in your kids runing around among the dining tables which may ruin a good meal. I'd avoid going to FF with your kids.

El Gaucho, Marandi, Yemanja are all in the similar category as FF perhaps less so. Out of the three Marandi is likely best for kids. The fish around the pier may be enough of a distraction they won't be running around bothering other guests too much. The restaurant is usually not full unless it is Sunday. Tony Romas is great for families but I have not been there for years I don't even know if it is still open. It used to be packed every night until service went south the crowd also started to depart.

I would say all of the all you can eat dining establishments like Amazonia, Texas de Brazil, and so on are great for families. I hate all you can eat with a passion so I cannot tell you what they are like nowadays either. The atmosphere of most restaurants in and around Paseo Herencia Mall is family friendly you will not run out of selections without going out of that area.

Zeerover in Savaneta is good for families. It is right on the pier where the fishing boats come in. My only complaint is everything is fried, and the oil is likely old it is not very healthy. The ingredients are certainly fresh.

Maybe some would like to help, but we don't bring kids or teenagers or grandchildren to Aruba.
Just my opinion, but fine dining is a waste...if you are going to bring toddlers or young kids. And it may be financially dangerous if you bring teens without limits on what they order.
I guess most recommendations would tend to turn towards fast food or pizza. That's what our grandkids (ages 14 and 11) really like.
We tried to educate their mother. Campbell's Vegetable Soup and frozen corn are now the extent of her vegetables. Her husband likes about 3 vegetables. When we visit, we go into a state of vegetable-deprivation.
