We stay at Amsterdam Manor twice a year and love it because it's a smaller hotel, more personalized service, and the beach is never crowded.

They have breakfast available at Mango's (either Continental or full American style), lunch is available at Passions Beach Bar (as are drinks), and dinner is available at either Mango's or Passions On The Beach.

All of the rooms have either kitchenettes or full kitchens. We usually go to the grocery store and buy some food/drinks and do breakfast in our room/on our balcony.

As far as a fun place....it's probably the most fun at happy hour at Passions beach bar. At night, it will get pretty quiet so if you want activity/fun at night you'll need to go to the high rise hotel area (5 minutes away) or downtown (10-15 minutes) via bus, taxi, or rental car.
