As Kent and others will tell you, the Sultan is a good restaurant for tasty fare and reasonable prices. The food is middle-eastern, i.e. shoarma, shish kebab, and so forth. The people doing the cooking are from that part of the world and friends who have been there tell me this place gets it right. I enjoy a meal here about once a week, either lunch or dinner.

So, I made a video with driving directions from the main highway right to the Sultan's door. Then there's a look inside and of my favorite dish, the chicken shoarma platter. You'll also see the menu. Hit pause and take a closer look. The prices are in florins.

Bon dia and enjoy.

PS: Amy, while you're on the island, give it a try!

We tried The Sultan today based on SanNic/Daniel's video and info.
Another longer comment posted elsewhere...sorry for any disloyalty to this great bulletin board.
Read that comment or look for more in the coming months.
If you want to get out of the hotel zone and try local places, The Sultan would be one to try. We just like the local places after 23 years...and SanNic seems to be the great informer!

Home tomorrow...after celebrating another anniversary and birthday!

Life IS good...after almost 9 years of retirement. Deo gratias!
